Amber Riley at the SAG Awards

Did any of you watch the SAG awards? Glee star Amber Riley definitely stole the red carpet in her black one-shoulder dress from designer Anne Barge. I love this look on her!

Get It Together AMC!

Mad Men creator Matthew Weiner recently revealed that the start of the 5th season of the award winning series is up in the air due to, of course, money issues. Apparently Lionsgate and AMC are still arguing about the financial terms of new contracts and everything is on hold until a deal is reached. It's crazy how you can have one of the most successful shows on TV in recent years and try to screw it up over money disputes. Newsflash AMC and Lionsgate, if there's no show, then there will be no money, period. It's already bad enough that we have to wait a whole year to see each season. Get it together AMC!

On a side note, I know a lot of ladies love Jon Hamm but am I the only one that thinks Mr. John Slattery is hot? Ok granted he's a little on the old side (and his blackface episode was insulting) but I still think he's really attractive. Check him out in his new commercial.

Tameka Raymond Looking Fabulous!

A week or so ago I was on theybf.com and while I was reading through the posts, I spotted a pic of Tameka Raymond as the fab photo of the day. I am not a Tameka fan (because really I have no idea what she does) but I have to admit she is looking really good these days. You can check out more pics here.

Blonde is the New Black?

A little while ago I did a post about R&B singer Amerie after she went blonde. Now Angela Simmons (daughter of Rev Run of Run DMC) has also lightened her locks and I'm not quite sure what I think about it. A lot of celebs have tried to rock blonde hair (remember when Kim K. did it after she broke up with Reggie Bush?). Some wear it well, others don't. I used to want to dye my hair (not blonde though) but I chickened out. I admire girls who have the guts to at least try something different even if it doesn't work out. Have any of you ever made a drastic change to your hair color? If so I would love to hear about it.

Have You Seen Phylicia Barnes

16 year old Phylicia Barnes has been missing since December 28. I did not read anything about it until yesterday. It is terribly sad that the media for whatever reason has chosen not to cover this story. To all of you with blogs (especially ones that are heavily trafficked) I encourage you to spread the word about this young lady and post her picture. I am praying that this young lady be returned to her family safe and sound.

Please Leave the Singing Alone

Recently actress Gwyneth Paltrow admitted that after her role in Country Strong, she believes that music is "definitely in her future". Granted I haven't seen Country Strong (and I have no desire to spend a single cent trying to) but Gwyneth a singer?

There must be something in the water in Hollywood because Gwyneth is not the only star thinking of venturing into music. Meagan Good is apparently in a girl group and Kim Kardashian is, well, being Kim. This got me to thinking about some celebrities who have tried to venture into music and failed, miserably. Here are some of the worst actors/models/socialites turned singers that I could think of (in no particular order).

Who would you add to the list?

5. Lindsay Lohan

I'm rooting for Lindsay...I really am and I hope that she is able to make a great comeback. But I really hope she left the singing alone.

4. Paris Hilton

No explanation needed...

3. Jada Pinkett Smith

Yeah, no comment.

2. Hayden Panettiere

1. Tyra Banks

Tyra can do many things. This is not one of them.
